About Ari
Ari Gordon is a registered Electrical Engineer-in-Training (EIT) with APEGA and holds a Master of Engineering degree from the University of Calgary. With a strong foundation in electrical engineering and solar PV system design, he brings rigorous technical expertise to every solar project at Firefly Solar, from residential rooftop installations to large-scale commercial solar arrays. Ari leads the design and engineering team responsible for developing custom solar energy systems that meet Canadian electrical codes, utility interconnection requirements, and site-specific conditions across Alberta, British Columbia, Ontario, and Nova Scotia. He is passionate about applying sound engineering principles to advance the adoption of clean energy in Canada, and regularly contributes thought leadership on topics including commercial solar economics, solar panel efficiency, energy storage, and infrastructure planning for renewable energy systems.
